Quincy-Claudia Green

A very good take on the ever-beloved Star Trek universe. A good balance against the current live-action shows which seem preoccupied with violence, darkness, and death, for better or worse. The characters are interesting and diverse re: personality. It's a fun time which stays incredibly respectful to canon; you can tell the writers know what they're talking about. It'll introduce many new people to the series: those who might not be enthralled with either the slower cerebral Trek of decades ago as well as those who would enjoy something more light-hearted and relatable than Discovery and Picard's life-or-death stakes. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and seeing where the USS Cerritos takes us.
