Awesome, characters are much more interesting in live action versus anime. Maybe the medium? Regardless I really enjoyed this show.

Ugh, it's just a formulaic swashbuckler. Korean movies are becoming Hollywood movies.

Season 1 great, season 2 abismal

I liked the books and everything else that Jonathan Stroud has written. I don't recall Lucy being so hostile and Lockwood being so craven. Also don't recall much sexual tension between them. I'm not saying these weren't in the books, but they were more subtle and less distracting. The stories can tell themselves without turning the melodrama up to 11. I can see that tripe in every other show on Netflix.

Goobledy goop of plot gimmicks. I expected the film to reveal the bad guy is secretly the father of the younger good guy. A bunch of unnecessary bad scenes for the sake of perceived coolness. Come on, shoot the manacles off someone from 10 feet away with a handgun? Who would do that? How likely is it to end well? Didn't that gimmick die out with Gun Smoke? Ugh, just one lazy insult after another. Last but not least, the shrike. If you're going to RIP off somebody else's character at least give it a different name.
