couldn't love this movie sadly
Diana was portrayed in such mental anguish and torture, which i think to a large degree she sadly was and in terms of the movie is what it was about, however her mannerisms, hairstyle, some of the fashions and lack of confidence in public was Diana in the 80's, its set as Diana in the 1990's who by this time had grown in confidence and wasn't to be pushed around in the same degree and was in anguish at trying to stand up for herself after years of being subservient to the mob but the Diana we saw was behaving like the demur Diana of her younger years almost a little childish
I felt her speech and interactions with others were almost overdone, rather animated and pressured at times.
I take the lack of scenes portraying HRH the Queen and Prince Charles was on purpose as to not offend or lead the public into images of what may or may not have actually happened but their scenes were like an afterthought
A couple of things were really stupid in no way would you be able to drive a porsche onto the sandy beach and Her ripping her pearls off at a dinner into her soup then eating one was also very unbelievable ... she was troubled not psychotic !
