the book was awesome, I went through the audio book... the audio book was a bit difficult to bear. the voice where the characters of the book scream shout or any have any loud expression....the voice was terrible. I was on the urge of stopping many times but the author did an amazing job and inspite of the terrible experience of listening to the horrendous voice in many parts the book was just too good

I love the characters Rose and Dorothy, they are hilarious, but for Blanche, she is so petty, selfish, narrow minded ...omg...how can one tolerate her and Dorothy's mother is another selfish self centered character...she shows no respect to the daughter who is going out of the way to make her feel at home and take care of her, the character is funny, and they could have scripted it better, they should not have shown her spitting in the plate which feeds her- as the saying goes, to be funny. Blanche is outright obnoxious and petty to her family and friends.

Why is the detective Mallory in this show shown as an idiot? I love this show it is fun to watch except for that small issue about the story line of detective. It does not show that the father as clever but rather that the writers are too lazy to write a good story.
