I mean come on let’s be real about this....only true Tomb Raider (1996)fans knows that the 2013 reboot of TR was amazingly done from the story, play through & graphics. So once ROTTR came about we were literally bowing to the developers like “You guys at Square Enix & Crystal Dynamics are F**king Rockstars!!” I mean the sequel was even better from the graphics to the gameplay & story plus all of the DLC made Rise worth every penny spent. However I digress, Shadow of The Tomb Raider Suck A$$ from the title to the storyline & the cheapest gameplay. The only thing I like were the graphics & the pictures you could take throughout gameplay. However that’s not enough, the ending of ROTTR had you thinking 🤔 💭...ok Trinity needs Lara to a certain degree. Not an apocalyptic game with pointless storylines & over the top puzzles & whack enemy & predators encounters. I mean come on, we expected so much more, I kinda feel like the gameplay of Endurance Mode on Rise, was actually better than Shadow period. Shadow wasn’t challenging enough, it was annoying. & Come on....Can we address the creepy jungle creatures? WTEntireF was that about??? They were creepy as $hit!!! It made you not wanna go to certain places like Cenote. & Why would Lara all of a sudden create a catastrophic catastrophe? Come on....she’s way too intelligent for that to be believable & beyond that she wasn’t even selfish & arrogant after leaving Yamatai, so why all of a sudden she’s like on her own mission. In Rise she was very protective of Jonah so how does this make sense??? & Plz can we discuss.....Jonah? Why is Jonah the only notable character out of all of Lara Friends???? I mean he didn’t even kill Konstatin when he had the chance in Rise, so why is he going anywhere with Lara??? I mean come on, he’s pointless. Beyond that, why didn’t they explore Lara & Sam’s relationship more, they were besties so she should’ve been able to return in Shadow & not necessarily in any sexual way just friends. I mean why didn’t they explore Ana & Lara’s relationship more in flashbacks like they did her childhood. I actually enjoyed that part of the game but every thing else just seemed so lackluster & cheaply done. I mean it was a trilogy for God Sakes...It should’ve been done way better & for as long as it took for the third game I thought the developers were gonna give us ROTTR on steroids.....oh but no just some ol’ Island Life game with no real anything & ya know what I’d rather gotten Tomb Raider 2 (1997) rebooted instead. We would’ve been way more satisfied as fans....& now that I think about it...Wow TR2 in 2021 rebooted, just think about the graphics & the storyline & gameplay..... it’s an amazing thought right? Now think about Shadow & tell me what you think????? Which would you prefer to play in 2021?????
