My first AC was black flag and then I was hooked to the series. I’ve since played a majority of the games. In my opinion the best feel of an AC game is the setting, you feel as if you’re in another time period with real life persons. I felt Mirage didn’t have any of that, it felt like it was trying to remember its roots to stealth etc however it was like they took all the good stuff out. I’ve given it 3 stars because it’s an okay game, I feel it doesn’t have much replay value, however for assassin creed fans, it’s worth playing to cover character depth. The overall combat system, graphics are okay but not groundbreaking. I do hope they bring back the uniqueness of the AC games in the future.

Based on the trailer, I was quite excited about this film, however it was a total let down. I felt the story was building then just fell flat. For a horror, there was a few comedy scenes in it, like what?! I think if you’re a fan of the series, it may bring you nostalgia but for someone like myself who grew up watching horrors like the ring or the grudge, it was terrible. However I have given the two stars based on good acting from some of the leading actors/actresses and the setting was decent. I would suggest to maybe save your cash and wait til you can rent off a stream service, the scariest moment was paying for the experience in the cinema.

First, start off by saying, I wasn’t fussed on the first one. However I was told that it was going to be an epic and it doesn’t matter if you didn’t enjoy the first one… Err no! I walked into that cinema expecting a film like gladiator (that epic a movie) it was just a sequel to a movie I wasn’t really fussed on. I’m not saying it’s bad, it just wasn’t that great. However if you were a fan of the first one, you will probably like it. I believe these films do bring some nostalgia back. I believe that’s what type of film it was.

I will be fair, ok graphics for an open world game when released, ok story to follow and ok gameplay however the reason for the really low rating was that it was boring. Comparing it to similar games of genre like Skyrim, oblivion or even assassins creed it wasn’t 10/10. I’ve put the 1 star as I want people to read an honest review. Honestly everyone has different enjoyments and some might find this enjoyable and the only way is to find out but I would suggest a demo or free download to play.

The last of us was a master piece. I believe it was always going to be tough to follow up on. However I did have high hopes considering the great work done on uncharted 4. The last of us 2 was all over the place. I'm not saying it's a bad game, its definitely worth a rental to just see the follow up. I felt the storyline was taken in the wrong direction. The character Abby, I felt was put in the game for controversy. Spoiler** playing the villain of the game, some games you understand that persons motives or you gain a better understanding of why they did what they have done, however I didn't enjoy playing Abby, it felt forced. The graphics were good and overall gameplay was pretty much the same as the original. If they created a third, maybe they could say Ellie had a dream which was the last of us 2, they could start again.

I found the story to be thin, kind of forgets the fact its a assassin's creed game. The game play and graphics are okay. I found this to be one of the worst games for bugs mind, my ps4 kept freezing when half way through a mission. The other thing I'd like to whinge about is the character, there's a bloke on the front cover but the story is built for a woman lol even the subtitles refer to you as her if you play with the male. I just don't understand why it gives options to pick, if it was similar to syndicate, fair enough but kind of takes so much away from the character.
