So I just finished binging this show and wow, what a ride it's been. This may include spoilers.
1. The way people of color are treated on the show is disgusting, they mention it a few times but just acknowledging that you're doing harm does nothing.
2. The shock factors, holy moly the shock factors from suicides to rape to so much verbal abuse. I've never seen a tv show have to rely so heavily on these kinds of subject manners to make a show interesting.
3. Rachel, I'm not sure if it's just cause I'm not a fan of the acting or it's simply because the character is so toxic, however, I was so unimpressed by her. In the last season, you see her completely embrace her role as a villain, however, nothing comes from it. No accountability was ever taken and I don't think she ever learned her lesson.
Unreal is entertaining and extremely binge-worthy which is why I'd give it 2 stars but the characters and story are so upsetting at times that I don't recommend the watch.
