This story is nearly a good one, but it’s only nearly there.. For instance: the character of the honest lawyer, or the layers of the smaller sister etc we’re not given the time to culminate into more believable complexities. The plot lines: the new guys trying to manage local business and manipulating market to boost demand for weapons were abrupt, and did not evolve in a continuous manner. One instance this, another that.. Just when you think a plausible villain is getting developed into something you would understand as pragmatic, the villain doesn’t get screentime in the next two episodes.
There are certain positives.. the fact that Indian Television series could move beyond conventional soap opera is a big thumbs up.. it might just be limitations of production, etc which could have limited this from being a “Gangs of Wasseypur” ish cult..
