Verdict: just watch it. Yes, and do not rethink ! This series is a masterpiece. But what is this series all about: it is about when the "whites" see the "blacks". This is an acute case of Stereotyping, corruption, preconceived notion against the black, the white vs Black, misinformed decision and the haste to just take a decision. How all of these led to the mental and physical agony of the innocent captive ones. How they were just juveniles, coerced to confessing the guilt they were not guilty of. And the years and years of physical and mental torture in the jail, again for the crime they haven't committed. Why? Because one person "felt" they were the ones. And the rest just obeyed her orders into proving the same and forcing those juveniles to confess the same. 6-14 years in jail !! A simple "bloody Indians" pains me so much, I can only imagine what they and their families would have gone through ! Rating: 5/5

Most of us have watched, Zindagi Gulzar hai ! If not, do watch that masterpiece. So for me, when I saw Sanam Saeed, it automatically pulled me to watch the movie. This movie gives us another strong character, Aamna, the elder sister. Somehow, I am building a knack for Pakistani movies/series because of the simple and strong storytelling, to-the-point acting, no overboard drama or bollywood type songs starting any moment and especially, no dragging a single topic, no matter how dramatic or life-changing it would have been. Cake is exactly the same. This movie is basically about "Life", how life takes a turn post an incident, which leads to several other incidents. This movie is about love, yearning to be in love, siblings bond, being practical vs being emotional, confrontation and acceptance. The movie is given life by the characters: the father, the mother, two sisters and their elder brother and Romeo. Each portrayed their characters beautifully. Do watch it guys.

I loved the movie... True to it's genre!! "With great power comes great responsibility" goes the famous saying ! But what if, those powers are not used for greater good ? People who love horror movies are aware of the fewer horror elements in such movies these days, most of which are shown in the trailer itself. But this movie gives you lot of horror or gross or "oh-no" moments... I might sound psychic, but really Innovative death sequences being shown ... Do watch it guys !
