Mark and Janet Kuhn

I have been a dedicated fan since I watched the original series first run as a kid. The first season of Discovery was very disappointing. It seemed more a dark SciFi and deviated from the Star Trek mantra. After watching the first two episodes of season two, I am hopeful that the direction has changed. I found the episodes to harken back to the core of the original series and found Captain Pike's addition to be a great choice. I recommend Trekies give Discovery a second chance and try season 2. And I hope the series doesn't get lost again in it's misguided attempt to make Star Trek a dark series.
