Big fan of the warriors. Big fan of Lin.
Still I was super skeptical. On the first listen somewhat annoyed by a lot of obvious changes. Seemed pandering.
But now I keep listening and I love it and would really enjoy seeing this go that one step further to make it to the stage of to a movie.

A film that never does what you expect in many ways. It focuses on real emotions, real love and growing up. It does that without going over the top or falling into the common tropes we see in so many other movies.
It isn’t a life changing film but it is worth a watch, If nothing else it will show you it doesn’t have to fall into the themes you expect to be a good movie.
