No. They butchered my childhood favorite. It started off decent and then quickly turned dark. They took liberties in the story lines that you know the original never would have gone. They stayed true to the documented historical treatment of one set of people while laughing in the face of historical content and actually rewriting history with regards to another set of people all in the name of current political correctness. Couldn't even stomach anymore. Never finished. Not worth it.
