This whole thing was a condescending mess. Dude has no subtlety AT ALL. If you walked away thinking this was a deep movie, then I guess you needed to be spoonfed "meaning" by the shovelful as it was done here. We did laugh a lot I suppose, every time a ridiculously lame line landed with a thud. We predicted most of the "effects" of the beach because this thing was again, not subtle. I don't know who this is for. Maybe people who don't get other movies but want to feel like they're in on something? It's a shame because the concept is good but the dialogue, plot points and of course the ending, were brutal.
