We just started watching back episodes of TAR. We started with season 5, skipped season 6 and went to season 8 because we thought it would be more positive and then what we saw in season 5 and the start of season 6 we skipped to season 8. I am appalled at the way people treat each other on this show. They have no respect for each other and are down right nasty to each other. On season 8 the family episode one team pulled their pants down and mooned another team! Everyone gained up on the Weaver team who was a recently widowed mother with three kids. The Weaver family was trying to heal from the death of their husband and dad and because they chose to stick together as a family to heal they were hated. The girl on the Linz family even said she wished a bear would eat the Weaver mom! The only two teams who showed the Weavers any respect were the Black family and the team with the little girl and boy! The way the Weavers got treated was dispicable and the team that won season 8, the Linzs, was the worst!! They had no respect. One team had a 12 yr old boy call his stepmother a b***h, another team the son kept telling his mother she was stupid and to shut up, another team of sisters were so hateful to each other and all gained up on their sister Chris and was just nasty to her. All these people in this race are supposed to have a relationship with each other. If they are being this disrespectful to their loved ones, how bad do they treat people they don’t even know?? This show brings out the nastiness in people. We will not be watching it again. There’s too much hate in this world to begin with. I’m not going to sit around and watch more hate and disrespect from people when I don’t have too!!
