So far I think Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a fine, enjoyable game for the PvZ franchise. It may seem like a shooter for much younger ages but you’d be surprised behind the strategic and complex ways of playing, don’t let people who miss the variants for the different classes bring you down by saying the game isn’t good simply because the of the reason variants are missing, sure I loved them too but these games don’t need them to be good or enjoyable for that matter. As much fun this game is, it does have its a lot of problems too, character balancing, some classes are restricted to play a specific role or else they won’t do very good, the maps feel forgettable, no solo play, and it can hard to find many people in specific lobbies weather its game mode or on an entire platform. If I'm being honest it should have been in early access/founders edition more to really iron out the problems and add more content.
However even with all these problems I still lean on it being a good game, leveling up your characters to exploring free roam regions I think there’s a lot of potential and fun to be had here.
