Honestly how could the man who wrote Sherlock create this. The death row criminologist & his sidekick were quite good albeit based on Hannibal Lecter but the whole English paedophile/woman in cellar scenario is like an episode of Faulty Towers

Starts out well but descends into a very heavy handed tome about logging vs environmentalists. Also characters & story lines meandered all over the place without any characters I really stayed invested in. It was like being bashed over the head about something you already knew.
