Being a fan of the Ice Age series of movies, was having too much expectation, but watching the first 10mins itself gave me a bad impression. The characters aren't making us laugh and are not at all interesting. The whole environment feels a bit odd. Poorly designed models, poorly executed animations, poor texturing, awkward shadows (making the character float), poor lighting, poor camera movements and angles. Am not an expert in these sections. But as someone who watches movies, I can say this is a disaster. Probably they cut down the budget or made the creators rush to a deadline. The character voices seems to be changed too. They aren't giving us that connection. Sid sounds like he's having throat infection. Lip synchs were out of order. Why there's too much glowing texture on many things? Odd animation on certain portion of the hair strands of buck, etc. I think the direction is also poor. Only the voice of Buck feels interesting. The sound effects also seems a bit low budget. That's it. After watching 20mins, am yawning. Not watching further. To the directors and producers: you guys made a disaster!
