Star Trek TOS had finished, and Thunder Force appeared next. The preview caught my attention, and away we went. It was a sensational time. The core reflected genuine friendship. Any dismissing reviewers may not have approached it with the right frame. They probably wouldn't like Wonder Woman (TV Series 1975–1979) with Lynda Carter, either. Octavia Spencer (Hidden Figures) gives us a champion who beats evil. Who doesn't want to knock down some evil-doers in grand fashion? While not familiar with Melissa McCarthy except for her appearances on SNL, her character is certainly relatable. Because I wasn't paying attention at the start, I didn't realize this was a movie and was hoping for a crime-fighting series.
