A different take in crime with mythology in the background, this one is definitely worth watching. I've watched far too many crime thrillers therefore there is not much that can surprise me. But for those new in this genre, the mystery in this one has been kept until the last episode which makes it even more interesting. When you think that the story is over and good has won, you'd be surprised to find that the story has just begun. The best thing is the protagonist is someone like Arshad Warsi, an underdog when it comes to actors which makes this series also an underdog. You'd be surprised to find it better than many series or movies with much more renowned star cast. The stellar acting from the cast makes the series much more enjoyable.

A disappointing Indian take of Prime Video's Modern Love that is everything but definitely not "like ishq". The initial two episodes and "Interview" are still bearable, but the rest three feels like they were made in a hurry. What is worse is the feeble attempt to copy the western stories and attitude that they don't at all look pleasing for stories set in India. Also much of the actors are newcomers or actors like Radhika Madan who know only one expression and feel like with that they can carry an episode of 20-30 minutes. The biggest relief is the short run-time of the episodes that would not overbear on your precious time and you can watch an episode while commuting to or from your workplace. All in all can be watched as casual viewing to kill time with friends and make fun of the stories.

I don't know why this series is getting such rave reviews. I watched it only for these reviews but to my dismay, it is just an okay series. There have been far too many series and movies of this genre that this one feels a little too predictable right from the start. The makers have paid more attention towards the picturization and the action sequences that they have quite ignored the storyline. With a team of so many talented secret agents world around one assumes that the protagonist would be able to decipher the villain at least in five episodes. But for the sake of a series it has been dragged for eight episodes. The villain thereby has become so powerful that he always is one step ahead from the protagonist, which makes the good characters a little boring. This is the reason why I loved watching Prime Video's The Family Man, because even though there too the protagonist faced a lot many hurdles but eventually the protagonist's character was shown as humerous and witty which did not make the show boring. And the storyline of the protagonist of both these shows are much too similar which makes this show a little less enjoyable. What I loved about this show is of course the stellar performances of nuanced actors like Kay Kay Menon, other than which this show is just an okay watch.

This is that show which you watch with your headphones on at the corner of a room because let's face it, it is not a family entertainer. With that disclaimer on, I must say I was surprised that I would be hooked on to this series for its entire two seasons. What ticks for this series is the engaging plotline which makes you wonder what all can happen in the next 45 minutes of an episode. The gory details in picturization could have been avoided but then again makers nowadays are more for realistic portrayal than for leaving up to the imagination of the viewers. After an initial few episodes one gets used to the foul language and the violence or other gory scenes and is gripped to the storyline that there would be no turning back. Also, kudos to the makers for having such an addictive opening credits theme that makes you hum along. All in all, definitely worth watching.

A political drama set in the city Mumbai with a gripping plot and and ensemble of a cast which will keep you hooked right from the start to the finish. What is going for this series is the stellar performances by the entire cast. The storyline is not too crumbly with the right amount of twists and turns at the end of almost every episode, without which the story would lose its oomph. A few scenes of gore and much too violence could have been avoided. But nevertheless the series is definitely worth watching for those having knack for dramas. Not to mention the catchy background score and opening credits theme make you enjoy the show even more.
