This is another of jimmy Stewart's great movies, telling the story of the life of band leader/composer Glenn Miller. Glenn Miller would then see a need to support the military men and women fighting and dying over in Europe and England. Glenn joined the army band corps, becoming Captain Glenn Miller before his plane would be lost in the English Channel. And o' what Great Music these bands put out !!!
I recommend checking out Glenn Miller and others like Benny Goodman (Movie & Music) Harry James, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, and others.
