Ok well to all the Karen’s that shut this down for “reasons” let me help.
1. If you said it wasn’t acceptable for children - it’s not your kids that are at fault it’s yours for not previewing it first. Review then Watch...
2. Women today still earn less then men,
fight harder then men to break through the glass ceiling. Showing the inequity here was brilliant. Men “are people in the film” and women are “yarn” as dehumanizing- um folks they are all cartoons - minds eye sees what it wants.
3. Change comes through dialogue and conversation - that the film got this type of traction to spur dialogue I believe was the creators point..

Ps: if this G rated film isn’t child friendly and you believe little mermaid is (16 year old ready for marriage) re-evaluate appropriate.
