I loved the show. I bawled every time I watched it but I could not stop. When it was over, I was crying and saying 'they can't do this to us!' And I am so glad (spoiler alert......) that Alex's mom didn't join her in Missoula because she just would have ruined her life there. I work in Human Services (food stamps, family court, etc) and I have a better understanding and more compassion for what our clients experience. The acting and cinematography was amazing. Maybe I'm naïve and don't have the same feelings as folks that have a one or two-star opinion of the series, but I loved it and I'm saying so.
