He is in a spaceship, on a voyage through the stars that will last decades, century’s even. Yet when he is accidentally woken up all the systems on the ship are active, to life. That is not expected to be on the ship for another 90 years. . The robot bar tender would be in a box, to be unpacked and actived on arrival, Sam would his beverages. The atmosphere would’ve been in tanks, cryogenically stored. It would be in vacuume, no heat. The ship would be in crtogenic hibernation, just like the passengers should be. The lights would be off, the power off. The water in tanks, frozen.
