This is a great book. It would have been even better if Bucke had not incorporated a second topic, not related to Cosmic consciousness: the fact that we don't see colors when dreaming.
Bucke highlights a number of great cases, drawn from the world's literature, then brings in lesser examples, and finally some possible current ones, from the late 29th century of course,
