I stopped reading at the following "Trump and his cronies took it all back. They understand culture no more than a donkey understands algebra." Page 7. Been a lifelong Stephen King fan. I'm 46 and began reading The Stand at 13. The last few books and short stories have had these barbs all through them. I don't agree with Mr. King politically and probably never will. Frankly, this is cowardly. If you truly feel this way about your fans who disagree with you politically than I challenge you to do what the bulk of Hollywood does. Publicly declare it. Don't be a coward and share it in a book. I'm happy that I only ordered this from the library instead of buying it as usual. Remember this Mr. King, the culture that lauds you today, will crucify you publicly when you do or say something they disagree with. You're free in this country to share your opinions as you like, just as I'm free to choose to no longer give your books my precious time or spend a dime of my hard earned money on your work.
No longer a fan.
