I watched the first movie and liked it because, although a little slow, you didn't know what was going on. It kept you invested and was plausible.
The sequel was the worst I have ever seen. The hero, who is impulsive, set a record for leading his team into stupid situations. One good guy died early, but the rest escaped more certain-death situations than D. Johnson and family in San Andreas. It was THAT bad!
I absolutely refuse to watch the third. I could care less how it turns out. I do know from the ending of the second one that the hero will be making more stupid choices (and surviving them.)
