Respect was a good movie. How you judge whether a movie is good or not is if most parts of it “take you away“ mentally from real life. Only a small part of Respect did not do that and was a little boring. Also, the images of Franklin showing too much cleavage, I think, was either a wardrobe “make belief” by producers/ directors (to match the current celebrity trend, or Ms Franklin’ s outfit, unbeknownst to her at the time, gave way. Amen?
