Needless to say, amazing acting by the two gems of the industry. However, expected some more fun, comic element in the script. The subject concerned is not much attention worthy, especially when it comes from Sircar, viewers expect a connect. Somehow, this connect was missing in Gulabo Sitabo, unlike Piku, Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and October. Also, it had a substantially slow pace - thought it would pick up gradually but unfortunately it failed to do so. It was a good attempt at collaborating the skills of Mr Bachhan and Ayushmaan. Sadly, it is a little disappointing after an eager and anxious wait for another Juhi Chaturvedi's script and Shoojit Sircar's direction, as the duo had created wonders before.
