Directional Joy

If you felt that watching He’s All That made you dumber, by association, then consider The Half of It your remedy. I doubt that I was the intended audience (a late 30’s straight white male) but I enjoyed it immensely. It is smartly written, has a number of likable characters (without depending on stereotypes), and leaves you hopeful without pandering with a “safe & sweet” happy ending. 5/5
