I watch World of Dance for its great dancers and performances but every time I watch this show the judges ruin it for me. Jennifer constantly gets on my nerves with her biases towards certain dancers. One of the most infuriating examples of this is when she favored a Latino group just because of her ethnicity and completely screwed over the Kinjas who were a group of fanomanal dancers. I remember watching that show just to see another performance by the Kinjas but Jennifer scored Latinos higher just for them to fail in the finally. More recent problems with this show is the Judges encouraging teams to call out their competitors in the duels with mocking choreography of each other. Not only is this rude but it takes away from the performance as a whole when people stop telling their stories on stage to rub it in someone else’s face. Also, why are the majority of the judges famous for being popstars and not professionals (except for Derek). And why is it called WORLD of Dance if the World isn’t allowed to vote. Why should all the big decisions of the show be put into the hands of three people when it’s supposed to represent the World? And now the Dance part of World of Dance is not represented either when many contestants just fill their ruitines with trick and flips. You can’t just do gymnastics on a stage to music and call it dancing. P.S. So You Think You Can Dance is way better.
