The Long Call,as seen on TV.was most intriging to me not as a murder thriller- as such , in that regard, it seemed fairly ordinary, but as a study of the impact of a cult. The long lasting confusion, complex guilt/false guilt of the culture upon the lead character were very accurate in my personal experience. The conversion to a 'more forward thinking cult at the end rather less so however. Nevertheless it was a good attempt at portraying the complexities cults and their impacts.
