When Marnie Was There is a beautifully captivating mystery film that keeps you wanting more. The movie itself has a very a mature storyline, especially for an animated film that shows the complexities of loss, friendship, and human emotion. This isn't a popular opinion but for me it's definitely one of Studio Ghibli's best.
