Devara brought high expectations, boasting a cast of well-known actors and a lot of pre-release hype. Unfortunately, it falls short of delivering a compelling story, as the plot feels muddled and unfocused. Despite the talented cast, the film struggles with awkward acting, leaving even seasoned performers looking out of place.
The screenplay, while ambitious, seems to lack depth, which results in scenes that don’t flow naturally. Many moments intended to be serious come off unintentionally funny, and this inconsistency undercuts the film's tone.
While Devara had the potential to be a standout project, its execution lacks the finesse needed to make it memorable. I doubt they will dare to make part 2.
