Good central performance from Winslet let down by a paint by numbers script.

Tedious action movie overlaid with modern sensibilities. Like The Sea Wolves without the charisma or acting chops.

Lighthearted romp trying hard to be like Raiders of the Lost Ark or Romancing the Stone but has plot holes you could sail the QE2 through. Gets by on the charm of the two leads.

Pedestrian retelling of an important story. The central performance is strong but some of the supporting ones are poor. The direction also leaves a lot to be desired with scenes rambling on long after they should have finished. Disappointing.

Tripe. Bad script, bad acting, bad effects. Watch something else.

Disappointing. A third rate Billy Elliott, forgettable songs, a paint by numbers script. The only highlight is Richard E Grant.

Formulaic action movie. Every trope and cliche gets an airing.

Dumb premise. Neeson is a fine actor but he's too old for these action man parts.

This could have been a really good movie but it is scuppered by some of the worst dialogue I have ever heard.

Follows a well-trodden path for coming of age movies. No real surprises but at least the music is good.
