I bought this for my 11 year old son who is nearing 12- already dealing with body hair and the beginning of acne. I am a single mom with a son. I try to keep an open line of communication with him- but let's say this. I bought the book- and he sat down and read it immediately in 1 sitting. He's beginning to do things without me saying it 3 times- like using his deodorant and taking showers daily. I believe other questions he was too shy to ask were answered as well.
