I found it really gripping. The casting was fantastic and the acting sublime. Edge of the seat reality drama....

I thought it was great. Very compelling. It was really well cast and performed. The only problem was that I often couldn't hear what they were saying because they spoke so fast.

I work with people with all forms if dementia and have to say that the film really captured all the complex behaviours of this horrible disease and the effect it can have on supporting families. Anthony Hopkins portrayal was phenomenal and I found myself nodding often as I recognised unpredictable behaviours I see first hand most days. Olivia Coleman was just brilliant as the loving , well intentioned but exhausted daughter and the writing and directing wete6first class. A tough watch...but very realistic
