Corn powa

I wanted to like it and some of it was good, but I couldn't finish it after getting halfway through the 8th episode. I know I was close to the end, but it was just too much for me. I think originally the script was called "Progressive Life" and followed around a bunch of liberal coastal highschoolers learning who they were, while trying to avoid the one grumpy teacher that tries to get them to actually care about school, but the studio decided that was too boring so they rewrote it in space. In most of the episodes, it seems like it focuses more on their feelings, relationships, and nontraditional sex lives than on the fact that they are in space trying to survive and reach the mysterious alien planet to make sure Earth is safe. Every episode someone was pissed at someone else, people were high, or they were introducing a new nontraditional couple and/or trio except for the 2 episodes where they did all 3 things. I just want to watch shows with good stories that don't feel the need to randomly throw in recreational drug use as being ok and random unnecessary threesomes or other nontraditional sex lives.
