Weird plot (sub-plots) and slow overall. No final closure of the Leland character, and the subplot of the mountain people how and why barely existed or had any real necessity or meaning within the context. The main plot was, basically, let's throw away lives and money based on letting a psychopathic raping and murdering relative live, then revenge when he gets justly killed. Real borderline criminals doing business, DO THE BUSINESS! YOU MAKE THE MONEY, you don't cover the back of the psychopath who is raping and murdering. You end them, even if they are a brother/son/wife/daughter etc...business IS ABOUT THE BUSINESS. Acting was on-point all around, but neither Ron Perlman or Malcom McDowell are able to exude the necessary hardness of characters, they both just seemed tired, no desire, lifeless in the roles, but maybe that was the writing/directing. Vinnie Jones did an excellent job as always, the only reason this got 2 stars.

It was very entertaining schlock! 😂 Soundtrack is above par! Overall, a slightly above average, PG13 vidi. Don't know why all the negative reviewers were expecting better or Academy Award winning material?! 🫤 It was nice seeing Emma Roberts play an adult(ish) character and not some waif/ingenue, as well as Dakota Johnson (barely!) breaking away from the "50 Shades..." series debacles! "Madame Web" was a vehicle simply to earn everybody a paycheck from 13+yr old girls who grew up on Spiderman and needed a strong girl hero in the same vein!

How did this vidi slip under the teatray big screen hoose! REALLY GOOD VIDI! And Dominique Fishback IS GREAT! This girl on the way to Academy Award! ❤️

Incredibly powerful presentation of slavery, that the suffering must never be forgotten, while the word "freedom" lacks any real understanding or definition in modern times. It begs the question if forgiveness is even a remote possibility when the suffering still goes on.

Really good, but not great. Some of the original cast, solid performances. Lots of new cast, excellent performances. Liked the story upgrades, as well as the CGI. Worth the watch, in every sense.

FOOKIN RIDICULOUS! And yet...REALLY FUN! Laughs galore, lots of action, girl/women power (Chloe Grace Moretz), a baby, a gremlin, and dudes that are smart enough (barely) to know they are outclassed! KUDOS! Completely worth the watch if you don't expect much! ❤️

Very, middle of the road, scifi savior movie regarding how capitalism/predatorial wealth mongers are willingly and ignorantly destroying the ecological systems of the planet, all to be saved by a human time traveler from the future. In almost every direction, this movie was desperately shallow in its scope but not it's intent...I imagine due mostly to a limited budget and uninformed writing/directing. However, it does hold together enough, in a Greta Thunberg-esque accusation of corporations plundering environment resources from an uneducated young teen point of view that very, VERY, complicated problems can be solved by very, VERY, simple means of turning off the machines while allowing environmental rapists to live.

Enjoyed everything about this movie EXCEPT THE FRIGGIN SOUNDTRACK! If they really wanted to deliver the experience they should have left it out! Fine to have music in the movie as a radio playing in the car that gets turned on/off, or as background in a store/elevator, but NOT as filler or stretch OVER THE TOP OF THE DRAMA! It was incredibly distracting, and taking away from the processing of intensity between action sequences. Sadly, what would have made the ending altogether more powerful was...I PROMISED NO SPOILERS! As former military, had a few PTSD twinges, but honestly, a real and actual civil war in the modern US isn't possible. It is more likely that a situation similar to "Leave The World Behind" will be what happens...third actor denial of comms/resources, disruption of travel/supply chains, extremists within the military go rogue, the rest of us cower or fight each other when we get to a belief that EVERYBODY is a potential danger, much how police are being trained to escalate and kill first. Really good movie about very bad things...
