I loved it so much. Very happy to see this modern twist on Cinderella, a lot of important messages throughout the movie and the biggest one for me was that Ella didn’t want a prince to sweep her off her feet. And side note this movie was very Pitch Perfect to me all the best songs!

I read the novel which made and then watched the movie obviously the movie was different from the book but I think overall I prefer the novel. Although the movie definitely definitely definitely has its moments. ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️I liked the representation of race, ethnicity, trans, and disabled women.

I loved the movie but it had more potential

This was not one of my favorite Marvel movies of 2022 or of phase 4. Thor Ragnarok is my favorite Thor movie it was a new spin on the Thor franchise and Taika Waititi did a phenomenal job but one thing I didn’t like was that he threw away most of the previous characters, including the Warriors Three. I was excited for Love and Thunder considering Taika was coming back to direct it so that was promise enough it would be a masterpiece but no. First off the negatives, the lack of screentime for the two characters. (yes Jane Foster is already in the MCU but Mighty Thor!) Gorr the God Butcher was a huge stand out in the movie, the only problem for me is that he did not have enough screen time, I know this a common complaint but it’s true. Gorr the God Butcher didn’t live up to his name, he was betrayed by his god Rapu and then on he saw all gods as privileged blockheads and for the most that was very true. A lot of the director’s cut features Gorr’s victims. Including one played by Lena Heady, she was supposed to receive 7.14 million for the role just to have it never see the light of day. Secondly I no longer like Korg. The first I saw the movie I really liked Korg but then I saw it again and it was just “meh” It’s less me complaining about a fictional character but more of just I hated how forced the comedy was, especially at times concerning Jane’s battle with cancer. Thirdly and it goes without saying but Thor’s character is just a hot mess. Positives though I love that Thor is a now a dad, I really liked the Thor and Jane relationship montage, it just gave more background and made me like the couple but Thor doesn’t really have a distinct personality. I really liked Valkyrie who was amazing as always (hopefully she finds her queen another time) also the goats were hilarious. And whatever is in store for Love and Axel I would love to see them in the Young Avengers.

I have seen very few Batman movies in my time and I saw this movie out of hype from the trailer, the things I knew about Batman and Batman canon was the common villains, Batman’s partners and associates, and Bruce Wayne’s backstory. Which is pretty standard knowledge to have when watching anything featuring Batman. But this definitely took a turn on typical Batman movies. It notably has the no parent Batman introduction like the Keaton movies and the darkness of the Bale movies but times 10 but the main difference is that Bruce is only 2 years into his detective/vigilante career and James Gordon is still a rookie detective and Bruce hasn’t really found his second personality yet. And Batman is definitely not an expert yet, he’s still learning and that is shown throughout the movie. I also how Pattinson expresses the inner turmoil of Bruce Wayne. When it comes to the villains, I really like how there’s zero camp. Falcone is a crime lord who will remove any obstacle that stands in his way and The Penguin is a crime syndicate who will do anything to get on top. And the Riddler is a ruthless killer with a powerful motive. Also I’m obsessed with Selina Kyle and after seeing the movie, I immediately went on Ao3.

This movie has everything I like about animated movies, pop culture references, everything meta and making fun of superhero/villain tropes. While this is a kids movie it’s definitely something people of all ages can enjoy, you’ll laugh, you might almost shed a tear (I did) and you might be little taken aback of the s word being said in a kids movie even though it’s bleeped out. Things that I really liked about the movie are how deep they go with Ace’s backstory and Superman and Krypto’s friendship. Which is my favorite theme of this movie and it goes…deep, in my opinion. The ending sequence, when Superman and Krypto are reunited is one of my favorite scenes! I get chills whenever Superman says “he saved me a long time ago” or “you know you’ll always be my best friend and nothing will ever change that.” Also when the Justice League adopt the others! LOVE!

There were definitely some downs BUT I ABSOLUTELY ADORED! THIS! FILM! Do not miss!! Everyone was great! I always love new characters and I will admit I cried during finale when Claire and Owen unofficially adopt Maisie again.

I LOVE this movie. Easily one of my new favorite Pixar movies. I like how much Disney has come with representation. But I’m also starting to see with more representation movies, they’re becoming more and more relatable ❤️ I am not Asian-Canadian. But I definitely relate to Mei, I fantasize about men, not boys (fictional men tho, they never leave) and also being constantly emotional. Angry, sad, excited. And just the stress of being a teen as well. I also appreciate that first animated Disney movie to mention periods is a metaphor for going through puberty.
