Acting is bad, the story is bad and the social messages, though very laudable, are too much in your face. One of the messages is just ridiculous. For example, the main character's widowed mother is dating on Tinder and her son initially objects. But then she tells him that she has been alone since she was pregnant with him, and so needs the company. Then he accepts it. Is this the only way that the Indian audience can accept a mother of a grown up man needs company? She has to be alone for decades? It's ridiculous. Today, Indian women re-marrying is not taboo. A young pregnant women remains unmarried even when her son has completed medical school? A sati savitri who has been pure until her son was settled and now she deserves comapny? Only then she can dare think of another man? No, India is not like this, not any more. Even in conservative families young women remarry if they are widowed at such a young age. So this is a backward social message and quite stupid.
