Thoughts:- Gameplay wise game is very good , graphically it is phenomenal and i also really appreciate the extra work that has been done on accessibility features but this game is heavily story driven and that part of the game is below average, the characters don't behave the way they do in first game, pacing is off, bad implementation of new characters origin stories and for some reason I didn't care about them at all throughout the game, the death of Joel is not properly implemented and that ending oh my god felt so abrupt, I kinda get what they were going for but poor execution of story hindered them from doing so. Reasoning of thought:- This can be a good game (like 9/10) if we consider it as an independent game but unfortunately it is an extension of the last of us 1 for that reason I can't ignore those issues, a good example would be "dmc devil may cry" that is also a good game if we consider it as an independent game but as a extension of the old devil may cry game that is also a bad game.personality and story really matters. Conclusion:- the game is average at best with beautiful graphics and gameplay and poorly written story.
