Simply beautiful. Each song can almost be seen as a wonderfully woven ballad, telling both deeply touching and at times humors tales that leave me in a head space yearning for love and peace.
Each album has been this way for me.
Specifically this album, with 3 previously released tracks Gloria, Donna, and Life in the City included is again a modern masterpiece.
The self titled "Lumineers"first album blew me away as it did others including at the time President Obama who included it in his top 100 charts with songs like "Hey, Ho" and "Stubborn Love"
After with "Cleopatra", again, beautifully woven ballads time and time again in form of Modern Folk.
Once more, if you are given the opportunity to see the band live, you will be blown away how well they sound, some say even better than the recorded music which is seemly an impossible feat. I saw them in NYC with a beautiful view of the city in the background and I can say that is an experience I will not ever forget.
