I have a feeling that Earwig resembles Goro (Hayao Miyazaki's son). He had to learn his craft, find his own path, and struggle through torrents of criticisms from all those who compare him with his dad. What I'm glad and hopeful is that his dad is participating in the project. Each step forward is growth and hope. I can't wait to see more of Ghibili!

I have confidence in the movie even though my family told me about the terrible reviews. The first thing that came to my mind was a lot of critics are biased against Andrew Lloyd Weber. They criticized Phantom of the Opera too. Instead of reading reviews from Variety, The Guardian, etc. I read the reviews from movie goers. Those who love the musical will love the movie.
