I never had the opportunity to play the original version, but I can say that this is a well done remastered version. To completely rebuild a game from the ground up is no easy task, but this was a great game.

It has been a very long time since I have played a WWE game. I believe my last game before buying 2K20 was Smackdown vs Raw 2010. Alot has changed which is good, but 2K20 is not a good game. I bought the game because it was on sale and thought me and my dad could play the royal rumble or money in the bank like we used to. This game seems to have majorly regressed. I have experienced a few technical glitches that are annoying (a championship belt floating in the air at the center of a ring in some matches being one of them) but even some of the characters don't even look like them. John Cena does not look like himself, Edge certainly isn't himself, and don't get me started with Jeff and Matt Hardy's appearances and entrance music and Jeff's. The constant crashes that never seem to get fixed. It seems this game was thrown together rather quickly. If you want my personal opinion by an earlier game like 2K18 or 2K19. This game isn't that great. No wonder 2K21 was cancelled.
