I agree with Vishal Kataria below about the script - actually I felt the storyline was pretty clumsy and lame. You can see the film was really well shot and the actors did a good job - as a period piece it's interesting. But Hitchcock claimed once it was the film he was most proud of- that's very difficult to understand.
