I now live on Taungurung country and this book gives me an understanding of this huge area and the Traditional Owners. It clearly outlines historical material and cultural aspects of the Indigenous Peoples and sets the framework for my study of the Recognition and Settlement Agreement now in place. The stories and knowledge of Roy Henry Patterson are rich and colourful and it is important that this information was documented and presented in book form.
