This movie was very slow, dark and depressing. It took me three tries to finish this movie. The acting was very good, but still hard to watch. I don't get the Academy award nominations for this movie. Someone please explain this to me.

I think this movie is worth seeing. If you like musicals and some good dancers with an amazing tap dance number. If like Jennifer Hudson who does an amazing version of Memories. If you want to be taken away to the world of cats then this movie is worth seeing. I don't think this movie should have been trashed by the critics.
