This movie has a powerful message about the addiction and homeless issues sweeping the US. I will say I was not expecting it based on the trailer, but this movie “bate and switched” because I think most would rather not even watch it otherwise. This is about mental health, broken families, heartbreak and recovery. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the subtle messages, mind bending turns and imagery that crosses the vail between real and parallel. Greg Wittle (Wilson) falls into a heavy addiction bender after segwaying from prescription based drugs. Ultimately if you know someone or have a family member that struggles with addiction, it is very clear to know the real underlying messages of this film. I think there should be more movies that talk about these kinds of issues.
