Francis Carpenter

I did not like this as it does not accurately follow the novel. I know the BBC always pushes feminism but it not right here. The men are portrayed negatively and the female character as someone to be admired over all the men. Many men are ethical and many woman immoral. Using the story to make simplistic feminist propaganda is wrong and perverts the original story. I'm waiting for the BBC to put a man as the lead character in the Jane Austin novels.
