Hands down the best survival game out there. Yes it does have some rough edges since its still in beta release, but the devs are doing their best to sweep it up. So far I got 1000 hours in game and here are the pros and cons i found as of August 2022
Pros:
>The graphics are simply amazing.
> Top notch realism for the most part. Different diseases, injuries you name it. Gun mechanics and overall Physics *chef's kiss* . Last update, they released 'poisoning'. bruh what the hell?
>A Jack of all trades. You like Hunting? SCUM. Off-Road Racing? SCUM. PVP FPS? SCUM. Post Apocalyptic Zombie Hunting? SCUM.
>Most players are chill. In my 1000 hours, I've never came across a toxic dude.
Cons:
>It still has a lot of glitches. Zombie no-clipping through the doors being the worst. But as per the news im gettin, the Devs are polishing it the best they can.
>Lack of content. If you are into PVE, theres nothing much you can do other than hunting for weapons, building a base and zombie killing. If you are into PVP, still got nothing much to do other than killing people and collecting a weapon you already have for the 10th time
>Lack of Vehicles and weapons. As of now, SCUM only has two cars to get around. Both of them being the civvie-type ones. So goes for weapons. Very less compared to the competing games. Though, they are adding new weapons atm
Im still giving it a 5/5 because for an early-release game, This is lit
